Africano Waltham values the dignity, privacy, and safety of every member of our community. This Media & Photo Consent explains how photos, videos, and recordings may be used when participating in Africano Waltham programs, events, or activities.

Africano Waltham may take photographs, videos, or audio recordings during programs, events, workshops, performances, and community activities for the purpose of:

Celebrating community achievements
Program documentation
Educational materials
Outreach, communication, and fundraising efforts

Social media platforms
Newsletters and emails

By participating in Africano Waltham programs or events, you grant permission for Africano Waltham to capture and use photographs, videos, and recordings that may include you or your child, unless you notify us otherwise.
This consent includes:
Use without compensation
Use across current and future platforms
Use for nonprofit, educational, and promotional purposes
- Children & Youth Participants
Africano Waltham takes special care when working with minors.
Media involving children and youth is used respectfully and appropriately
Full names of minors are not published without explicit permission
Content is selected to reflect positive, safe, and empowering representation
Parents or legal guardians who do not wish their child to appear in photos or videos must notify Africano Waltham in writing.
- Seniors & Vulnerable Adults
Africano Waltham is committed to respecting seniors and vulnerable adults.
Participation in media is always voluntary
Images and recordings are used with dignity and care
Requests to remove media will be honored whenever reasonably possible
- Opt-Out & Media Removal Requests
If you do not consent to being photographed or recorded, or if you would like an image or video removed, please contact us.
We will make reasonable efforts to:
Avoid capturing your image during future activities
Remove existing media where feasible

All photographs, videos, and recordings created by or for Africano Waltham remain the property of Africano Waltham unless otherwise stated.
